A distinguished financial institution seeks a Vice President – Accounting and Finance with Chief Executive Officer (CEO) succession possibilities.  The vice president is accountable for profit management, accounting, forecasting, CECL, financial analysis and reporting, investment analysis, and budgeting/modeling.

This position will work closely with the CEO and make recommendations for new investment vehicles.  This position also works with the board of directors to answer questions about the balance sheet and financial reports.  Additionally, the vice president must be an accurate and avid team player in this highly collaborative culture.

This financially sound financial institution is seeking someone who will strategically guide the organization toward their vision within the context of their mission.  Strategic planning is key to this role as is doing research and analysis on product pricing and providing recommendations to the CEO.

Candidates will need a minimum of five years management experience in a financial institution.  A bachelor’s degree is required, but a master’s degree is preferred with an area of specialty in finance and accounting within a financial institution.

Gesa Credit Union (Gesa) is seeking an innovative leader for the Collections Manager role to lead, motivate, and provide direction to the credit union’s Collections Team for this forward-moving organization.  The Collections Manager helps to preserve the credit union assets by controlling delinquent accounts, collecting delinquent loan payments, recovering collateral, and disposing of repossessed collateral. This role will lead department personnel-related issues including participation in the hiring process, scheduling, coaching, monitoring, and performance evaluations.  This role requires a professional demeanor at all times while working with members, vendors, and staff.

The high-performing candidate will display organizational skills, robust and effective communication skills, strong analytics, knowledge of the collection and credit union programs, sound judgment when performing duties, and leadership values.  This position will maintain and protect all sensitive data and dependable records of attendance and timeliness for staff. The role will serve as the credit union’s subject matter expert on the collection’s system and continuously work to improve system processes, workflows, and procedures.

Candidates are required to have a bachelor’s degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school in the area of collections; additional related experience may be recognized as an equivalency to education requirements.  Five to eight years of similar or related experience and financial institution collection experience desired.

Firefly Credit Union’s (Firefly) board of directors is searching for its next Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to replace its longtime legacy CEO.  This financially sound credit union is seeking someone who will strategically guide the organization toward their vision within the context of their mission.  The CEO will serve as a foundational leader to broadcast and embody the brand and organizational presence regionally and nationally. The CEO is responsible for creating and enhancing the culture that adds value to the members and is in a strategic partnership with an engaged and high-performing board.

The CEO is accountable for the overall operation and performance of the credit union.  Serious candidates will demonstrate expertise and experience in creating a vision and operational plan that aligns with the relevant brand with the ability to leverage the credit union resources for the future.  Your ability to demonstrate cross-functional expertise and lead a high-performing leadership team with competence in financial management, enterprise risk management, strategic use of technology, strategic credit, investment portfolio expertise, and strategic brand and marketing is a plus.  This position will plan and direct negotiations pertaining to mergers, joint ventures, purchase or sale of assets, and thoughtfully manage risk. The CEO will also stretch the potential of the executive team as a coach-facilitator, supporter, and influencer.

We need to see at least ten years of executive experience leading within a retail banking organization with similar or greater complexity.  A graduate degree in business is preferred. More important is the demonstration of ongoing education and certifications relevant to a financial institution leadership.  The CEO will need to develop positive relationships with the board of directors, regulators and examiners, members, employees, and demonstrate an interest in developing industry relationships.  Compensation and benefits are competitive.

Burnsville, MN is located in Dakota County, Minnesota with a population of 60,300 lying on the south bank of the Minnesota River.  Burnsville and nearby suburbs form the southern portion of Minneapolis/St. Paul and is located 15 miles south of downtown Minneapolis.  Firefly has been serving the community since 1925.
