IBEW 26 Federal Credit Union (IBEW) is searching for its next chief executive officer (CEO). The credit union is small in size but big on serving the membership, with tremendous potential for growth. IBEW provides financial products and services to the members of several local unions and is sponsored by IBEW 26. The CEO will oversee the credit union’s operations and work in tandem with the staff, ensuring high-quality service, accurate financials, and an environment rooted in teamwork.
The board of IBEW is looking for an involved leader who can balance day-to-day operations with strategy, vision, and leading the credit union. The next CEO will build on the legacy of IBEW and develop a strategy to expand its reach to the thousands of potential members in the local unions through site visits, participation in union events, social media marketing, and more.
The CEO must be a self-starter, have an incredible work ethic, believe in getting results, and be an excellent communicator. You are a superb problem-solver and can recognize the capabilities of others, delegate accordingly, and encourage continued professional growth and responsibilities. You maintain a collaborative partnership with the board of directors and bring creativity, strategy, and vision to the conversation. The CEO will propose and foster innovative thinking and fiduciary soundness to the board while sharing the associated risks and rewards. The CEO will develop a plan for training, coaching, and developing the current team while preparing for future staffing needs. You will inherit a small but mighty staff that will earn your respect and trust as you work together to achieve success.
