Hoosier Hills Credit Union (Hoosier Hills) is seeking an innovative credit union leader to serve as its next chief executive officer (CEO). The CEO is responsible for planning, directing, and the overall control of the credit union activities. The CEO will cultivate and enhance a culture that adds value for members and employees and collaborate with the senior management team to drive strategic initiatives. As the CEO, you will report to the Hoosier Hills board of directors and be responsible for ensuring financial stability and member satisfaction.
As the CEO, you will make sure the credit union meets all legal obligations and inform the board of directors on the credit union’s condition. You will oversee the preparation of the annual business plan and budget. The CEO will maintain a high-performing, motivated, professional, and well-trained staff. The CEO will direct, motivate, and coordinate the development of staff to ensure maximum efficiency in the daily credit union operations. The CEO must strive to retain the credit union’s image as a customer service-oriented and innovative staff. The CEO must be comfortable delegating and have balanced judgment. The CEO must analyze complicated factual situations and develop solutions under the credit union’s strategic plan.
Top candidates will have well developed interpersonal skills and knowledge of credit union policies and procedures and ten years of experience related to accounting, lending, and finance. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field. Intermediate knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software and numerous financial software applications are essential to success in this role.
