The vision of Dutch Point Credit Union (Dutch Point) is “Educate. Serve. Delight!” and the chief experience officer (CXO) leads the charge on instilling this vision into the staff and ensuring it is embraced, implemented, and executed every day. The CXO serves as a strong steward of the credit union’s brand and is responsible for the member experience across all channels.
The executive leadership team is led by a recently promoted CEO who is excited to move Dutch Point into the future and values the insights of the CXO. The CXO is independent, strategic, forward-thinking, and innovative and possesses the knowledge and ability to recommend strategies to the CEO, the board, and the rest of the executive team. This role develops and executes a member experience strategy that transforms all member touch points, resulting in increased product and service adoption, increased member engagement, and strong organizational performance. The CXO embodies a passion for creating and developing strategies to leverage the branch network, marketing, contact center, lending center, and digital assets while leading and developing a strong member-centric team of professionals.
The CXO is outgoing and energetic and has a personality that naturally draws others to them. They are the face of Dutch Point, building relationships across the organization and representing the credit union in the community. The CXO is actively involved in the community, keeping a pulse on the products and services needed in the market. The insights gained are shared with the executive team and utilized to develop and execute a member experience strategy that transforms all member touch points, resulting in increased product and service adoption, increased member engagement, and strong organizational performance.
Knowledge and Skills
- Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a credit union
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- Proven ability to manage, lead, and develop managers and employees
- Excellent communication, marketing, and writing skills
- In-depth knowledge of member/customer journeys and experiences in financial services
- Proven knowledge of best practices in leading a financial services retail organization, managing and leveraging digital assets, and using data analytics to drive decision-making
Compensation: $175,000 – $201,000 annually
