Bayer Heritage Federal Credit Union (BHFCU) is looking for a ready-now technology leader to serve as its next chief information officer (CIO).  This exciting new role is responsible and accountable for the collaborative development and execution of effective strategic enterprise leadership of information for data services, data analytics, and e-commerce technology.  As part of the C-Suite, this role will assess the credit union’s needs to support the organization with reliable, cost-effective, and productive solutions to build efficiency and support a digital-first approach to service delivery.

The CIO position will also be responsible for using technology and digital solutions to ensure high levels of membership growth, expansion of member relationships, retention of member relationships, a superior member experience, and high levels of employee engagement.  In addition, the CIO role touches all areas of the credit union and collaborates with the executive team and staff to provide technology solutions to stay competitive in all markets.

As a strategic thinker, this position supports the credit union’s strategic vision by providing current and relevant technologically related information data and communicating that information to the executive team to meet organizational goals.  As a change manager and leader within the organization, the CIO will add value to the conversation regarding the future of technology, understand business operations, and manage IT and its teams.  In addition, the CIO will also be responsible for vendor relationship management, project management, oversee compliance and security, and represent BHFCU in the community.

Requirements include a master’s degree in technology or business administration, Microsoft certification, five-plus years of proven leadership within a multi-layer organizational structure, and demonstrated expertise in strategic technology planning, execution, digital platform implementation, cybersecurity, policy development, system knowledge depth, and server administration.  This position is a hybrid-location position and offers a competitive salary.
