Your Role as Chief Lending Officer:
As the CLO, you’ll be the strategic influence behind our lending function, responsible for building and leading teams while growing our loan portfolio. This is your opportunity to design loan products that truly resonate with our members, foster growth, and support our efforts to enhance the financial well-being of our members.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead & Innovate: Build and lead a high-performing team. Recommend new lending opportunities across consumer, real estate, and commercial loans, resonating with our members.
- Strategic Growth: Assess, expand, and manage our loan portfolio, focusing on quality, risk management, and alignment with our strategy.
- Collaborate & Elevate: Partner with the Chief Experience Officer to ensure a seamless loan application process and work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer to effectively promote our lending products.
- Strategic Impact: Play a key role in helping drive the credit union’s strategic direction by bringing our mission and vision to life.
- Inspire & Drive Results: Actively engage in and lead cross-functional teams to drive performance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Educational Excellence: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree highly preferred.
- Proven Experience: 10+ years of progressive leadership in lending/credit operations, with 5+ years as a top lending executive at a credit union or bank.
- Strategic Mindset: Expertise in growing loan portfolios and developing new loan products that meet evolving member needs.
- Innovative Leadership: Proven track record of breaking down barriers, challenging the status quo, and fostering a member-centric, positive organizational culture.
- Collaborative Spirit: Strong ability to work with leadership teams to execute organizational strategy.

The base salary range is $210,000 to $260,000.
