Los Angeles Police Federal Credit Union (LAPFCU) is searching for a new Marketing & Business Development Manager. The new Marketing & Business Development Manager will report to the VP of Marketing and have oversight of the entire marketing, digital, and business development and actively make contributions to the organization as a whole.  The Marketing & Business Development Manager oversees the day-to-day functions of the Marketing and Business Development Department including management of staff, budget, projects, programs, membership communications, marketing campaigns and promotions, sales activities, digital transformation, community sponsorship program, community outreach, relationships with key stakeholder groups, vendors, events, adherence to brand and compliance guidelines, and deadlines. This position also works closely with peer management team members on corporate-level projects and programs. The Marketing and Business Development Manager actively seeks opportunities to introduce growth, strategic, product, sales, and process improvements and innovations, including helping the organization to transition from traditional to digital channels and greater use of data and personalization. This individual should be well-versed in both marketing and sales theory and practical application, be highly organized, able to handle multiple priorities, and have excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Qualified candidates will have ·   5 to 10 years of similar or related experience required. Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline required.  Master’s degree in a related discipline preferred.  Previous experience in the banking or financial services industry required.  ·   Previous management experience required.  Extensive knowledge of sales, consumer behavior, print advertising, point-of-purchase display advertising, direct mail, email marketing, websites, social media marketing, search engine optimization, paid search advertising.  Demonstrated problem solving, multitasking, ability to meet deadlines, to manage projects, and organization skills.
