Amplify Credit Union is seeking a Senior Vice President – Chief Information Officer (SVP-CIO) with strong financial institution experience. As the CIO you will lead the technological and informational needs of the organization. This senior level role requires exceptional technology expertise combined with leadership presence, proven strategic planning experience, and a demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally on technology decisions. The SVP-CIO is a strategic partner who understands how technology supports the business’s objectives. The SVP-CIO will work closely with the Chief Experience Officer to ensure that the technology we provide provides our members with the best banking experience possible.
Responsibilities for this role will include directing and controlling the company’s information systems and technology activities, which encompasses system design, programming, network planning, database management, and computer operations. A customer-oriented role to both internal and external constituents, the SVP-CIO is expected to demonstrate leadership, goal-orientation, employee development, and interpersonal skills to blend well in a highly collaborative, team environment.
Amplify is dedicated to a Cloud-first approach in making IT decisions, utilizing SaaS providers for strategic applications, and virtualizing systems as much as possible. System uptime is critical, so redundancy and the ability to quickly restore systems and data are priorities. As part of the company’s strategic plan, the SVP-CIO will also focus on systems consolidation, standardizing Amplify’s technology stack, reducing the number of links between systems, eliminating manual processes, creating an environment that allows systems to share information with one another and provides near real-time information.
Top candidates will be technologically savvy and possess strong leadership skills. They will be able to work in a fast-paced environment while using good communication and management skills to build mutual respect with internal stakeholders. Candidates are required to have a college degree in computer science or a related field; 5-7 years executive leadership experience; and must be bondable. Microsoft, Oracle, SQL Server, PMP, Six Sigma, or other professional certifications are preferred. Top candidates will come from the credit union and banking industry.

Annual compensation for this position is estimated $200,000-$210,000 depending on experience, and an annual bonus of up to 30% of base salary.
