Altura Credit Union (Altura) is expanding its executive leadership team by adding a Senior Vice President of Retail Operations (SVP). The SVP is dynamic, member-focused, and innovative and will contribute to the continued success and growth of retail operations and the entire organization.

The SVP will fulfill Altura’s strategic initiative to best serve its members in the geographic areas where they live and work. Altura is invested in the communities it serves and has expanded its physical footprint from 13 branches in 2019 to 21 branches today. They are committed to providing a safe and secure space for the members to do their banking business, and the SVP will ensure that existing members have exceptional experiences throughout all of the products offered and services received, and potential members are aware of the many benefits of banking with Altura. The SVP has a relentless passion for improvement, differentiation, and best-in-class member experience and builds strategies based on this foundation. 

Altura believes that banking is about more than transactions, it’s about relationships. Through coaching, mentoring, and employee development, the SVP will elevate the retail talent to a high-performing, member-centric team with outstanding relationship-building skills. The SVP will lead a team of three Regional Vice Presidents with solid operational knowledge and a strong dedication to service excellence. The SVP reports to the EVP, Chief Strategy Officer and will be an integral member of the executive leadership team that has unparalleled dedication to encouraging and expecting each other’s best efforts while being very high-performing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategically direct all retail branch operations supporting the credit union’s strategic goals and objectives. 
  • Develop and implement retail branch policies, products, and strategies to deliver exceptional service and achieve defined sales goals. 
  • Partner with the marketing department and other stakeholders to support the efficient and effective delivery of products and services. 
  • Ensure all branches operate successfully according to the performance metrics and scorecard with a strong focus on membership growth.
  • Optimize operational processes that best support the growing retail business and membership needs.

 

Requirements

  • At least five years of senior retail management experience
  • Financial service industry experience is a plus but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred

Compensation
$175,000 – $200,000
