We are announcing a fantastic opportunity – the vice president of human resources (VP HR) for Kitsap Credit Union. This role will enable you to spread your wings and assist in rebuilding the human resource area of a very well-run financial institution.
The VP HR is responsible for developing, recommending, and implementing human resources policies and programs for the organization. The major areas include organizational planning, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training/talent development, compensation, and employee services (i.e. benefits administration, payroll, leaves of absences, and workers’ compensation). Works closely with managers on human resource and employee development matters. Assures Human Resources initiatives are appropriately aligned with Kitsap Credit Union’s business strategies and objectives.
This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced human resource professional to have a significant impact on the growth and performance of a highly successful organization.
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field required. 10 years of human resource management experience is required, with at least 8 years in a leadership role in an organization size of 300+ employees. Previous experience with oversight of payroll management is preferred. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP strongly preferred, along with talent development and training program experience. Knowledge and experience with human resources management systems and experience with administration of self-funded benefit plans a plus.
