The Credit Union of Texas has an opening for the vice president of retail sales (VPRS). The VPRS focuses his/her efforts on leading sales and driving revenue throughout retail operations. This position is vital in understanding and anticipating trends in the industry, growth opportunities and leverages sales leadership expertise to drive improvements in the sales organization’s performance.
The VPRS is responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to pursue business revenue objectives. The VPRS also leads efforts to improve sales performance and drive organic sales revenue and growth.
As the VPRS, you will meet regularly with the branch management team to review branch performance. You will create sales reports and provide feedback to the leadership team. The VPRS works independently under the supervision and guidance of the Chief Retail Officer. The VPRS identifies where improvements can be made and develops sales plans and strategies to achieve sales goals.
Candidates should have experience with Salesforce and in-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods and employee motivation techniques; candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and a background in sales leadership. Top candidates will demonstrate success in delivering results, measuring performance, and ensuring accountability. 7 years in a sales leadership position, 5 years of banking experience, and 4 years of experience working in a sales role with sales technology and CRM software are minimum requirements for this position.
