Hard work pays off for six deserving students.
Phoenix, AZ: DDJ Myers and the Myers Family Foundation are proud to honor local students and have awarded over $6,000 in scholarships to six deserving students. Requiring participation in an often under-appreciated extra-curricular activity while in high school adds a unique twist to this award. DDJ Myers applauds everyone who follows their passion with enthusiasm and dedication.
Teachers and coaches nominated students who maintained a 3.0 or better GPA while also participating in cheerleading, swimming, track and field, band or strings during at least three years of high school. The 2021 recipients of the scholarship are Paige Beracy, Jewliana Gomez, Clayton Kinkel, Samuel Bijan Levinson, Monica C. Rendon and Daniel York.
“These kids show fierce dedication and commitment to both their sport and their studies,” said Deedee Myers, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of DDJ Myers. “They show up to 6 am practices, stay late for meets and give up their Saturdays for competitions and performances,” Myers states. “Their years of hard work will pay off beyond their high school careers, and we are honored to invest in their continued success.”
DDJ Myers specializes in leadership success through executive recruitment, strategic organization and board development for financial institutions. In addition, they offer a broad range of online assessments to help companies optimize their greatest assets – their people.
