Peter facilitates professional development programs for executives and management teams, succession planning processes for boards and CEOs, as well as strategic planning engagements for credit unions nationwide. Weaving together strategy development, critical thinking, employee engagement to bridge the talent and execution gap is his specialty. On a daily basis, Peter works with teams and boards to unlock and leverage their organizational, team, and individual potential. Peter also co-leads the CEO readiness and talent development program for credit union executives pursuing their next level of career potential and has been a teacher in the award winning NWCUA/DDJ Myers Emerging Leaders Program since its inception in 2012.
Peter graduated from Arizona State University with a B.A. in sociology and a minor in Spanish. He holds a master-level certification in somatic leadership coaching from the Strozzi Institute, an internationally recognized coaching school. He also has taught three different courses at the institute, including the week-long Men’s School of Embodied Leadership intensive. Peter speaks nationally on leadership, strategic planning, CEO succession planning, employee engagement, and board/management relationship building. He is a contributing author to Bushido Business: The Art of the Modern Professional as well as several white papers published by CUNA. Peter is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) as recognized by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and is certified in a number of psychometric leadership assessments including the BarOn EQ-i (Emotional Intelligence Inventory).
Third generation in this industry, Peter’s formal education, evidenced-based coaching and somatic coaching certifications, combined with his extensive world travels and his exposure to the financial services industry, help him create vision and opportunities for organizations seeking to reach their next level of success and commitment.
Peter, his wife Brijet, their daughter Naomi, and sons Marley and Calvin take advantage of all the benefits of living in San Diego by participating in as many community, school, and social events as they can cram into their schedules.
