ALM First continues its dedication to innovation and exceptional service and has developed an executive benefits program to serve credit union and banking industry executives. The Director of Client Relations will be integral to the program’s successful launch, sharing their expertise with clients while driving strategy and product development. As the Director of Client Relations, you will manage client relationships in nontraditional investment strategies and help clients navigate complex financial landscapes and achieve their investment goals. You will ensure the accurate and timely delivery of key service components and support product development initiatives under the guidance of senior leadership.

Responsible for overseeing client relationships within the Employee Benefits Prefunding & Charitable Donation Account segments, you will focus specifically on product delivery of nontraditional investment portfolio management services offered through ALM First Financial Advisors, LLC. You will ensure the accurate and timely delivery of key service components, including onboarding, market commentary, reporting, client communications, portfolio strategy, and performance analysis. Collaboration with internal teams such as Investment Management Group (IMG), Operations, Analytics, Advisory, Executive Benefits, Sales, and Marketing will be essential to address internal and client/prospect needs effectively. You will also be crucial in preparing internal reports and communicating with product stakeholders, particularly the EBPF/CDA Steering Committee. Additionally, you will support product development initiatives under the guidance of the Principal and Managing Director and actively participate in sales calls, webinars, speaking engagements, and other outreach activities as a subject matter expert in nontraditional investments.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Effective relationship management experience and proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Demonstrated experience with nontraditional investments 
  • At least five years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
  • Exceptional organization and project management abilities
  • Proficiency in fixed-income portfolio management is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred
  • Understanding of executive benefits and institution-owned life insurance is preferred
  • Knowledge of credit union regulations (703.13/14 versus 701.19 & 721.3) is preferred

Candidates can work remotely from anywhere in the United States. Travel will be required.
