Arlington Community Federal Credit Union ($468M, Falls Church, VA) has selected Kenricka Gardner to serve as its new Vice President, Member Experience. She was placed by DDJ Myers, the well-known leadership development firm that is now an ALM First Company, and joined the credit union last week.
“I really enjoyed my experience with DDJ Myers and appreciated their communication and transparency,” says Gardner. “Leah and the team were easy to work with and extremely knowledgeable.”
Gardner previously served as Vice President of Remote Services for APG Federal Credit Union and her professional experience includes holding various roles at Navy Federal Credit Union, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. She is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and a Project Management Professional (PMP)®.
“I was drawn to the culture at Arlington Community FCU and their mission to serve the community,” says Gardner. “Personally, I’ve been seeking alignment and searching for ways to create a greater impact. I’m confident I’ll be able to do that at Arlington Community FCU – both from a member service standpoint and a community standpoint.”
Gardner completed her MBA at University of Maryland Global Campus, where she also received her Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and management. She is the mother of 3 boys – all under the age of 10 and the entire family loves bowling. When not busy working or volunteering in her community, Gardner also enjoys cooking and interior design.
