Publix Employees Federal Credit Union (PEFCU, $1.4B, Lakeland, FL) has selected Stephanie Straker to serve as chief financial officer (CFO). She was placed by DDJ Myers, the well-known leadership development firm that is now an ALM First Company, and joins PEFCU today.

Straker served as CFO for Envision Credit Union since 2018 and held various roles in finance, accounting, risk management, and operations during her 17-year tenure there. She also holds two CUNA certifications, as both a Certified Credit Union Investment Professional (CCUIP) and a Credit Union Enterprise Risk Management Expert (CUERME).

Straker holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Florida State University, completed her MBA at the University of Florida, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Straker enjoys family time with her husband, Jules, and daughters, Alexandra, and Kendall, especially supporting and watching her daughters grow through dance, gymnastics, and soccer. She is also a dedicated Florida State University Seminole fan and loves all things ‘Noles especially college football.
