Sun East Federal Credit Union ($877M, Aston, PA) has selected Zachary Stecher to serve as its next chief financial officer (CFO). He was placed by DDJ Myers, the well-known leadership development firm. “Working with DDJ Myers, I had a trusted partner guiding me throughout the process to achieve the best possible results,” says Stecher.
Stecher previously served as Vice President of Finance for TruMark Financial Credit Union and brings more than 18 years of professional finance and accounting experience to his new role at Sun East. He has served the credit union industry since 2006 and has held multiple roles at various organizations, including the Pennsylvania Credit Union League, American Heritage FCU, and Keystone FCU.

Stecher completed his MBA at Penn State University and holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Utah. Originally from Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, he moved to the Philadelphia area after college. In his free time, Stecher enjoys traveling, skiing with his wife and daughters, playing guitar, and playing pickleball.
